This 18th century farm house, with its own chapel, is situated in an ancient village just north-east of Citta di Castello, surrounded by cultivated fields, woods, vineyards and wonderful old olive trees. The country house has been sympathetically restored over recent years by the family who owns the property. They cared personally about its restoration, keeping original features and enhancing the whole structure. The farmhouse now provides accommodation in 3 apartments but during July and August is only rented as a complete property. There are great walks in the surrounding countryside (or mountain biking for the more energetic) or the well-positioned swimming pool makes the perfect place for visitors to relax and take in the views. Perfectly placed for exploring north Umbria and for trips into Le Marche and parts of Tuscany. There are 3 apartments at Borghetto di Pedana, two with 2 double bedrooms and 1 with just 1 bedroom. They can be rented individually for most of the year or combined for large parties of up to 12 people. Two of the apartments can be joined by a connecting door. During July and August the property is only available to groups up to 12, taking the whole farmhouse. Ideal for tour groups, retreats, weddings, family reunions and other special occasions. “Tulip” apartment is the largest, for up to 4 people, with 2 double bedrooms. There is a spacious living room with lounge area, TV corner and a splendid 19th century feature fireplace. The apartment has its own balcony with garden furniture to enjoy the views in privacy. “Sunflower” apartment has 2 double bedrooms, a living room with kitchen, lounge area and TV corner. “Iris” apartment is a first floor apartment for 2 people with a double bedroom, living room and kitchenette with a feature 18th century stone washbasin. Each of the apartments has a separate private entrance The building is a beautifully rustic stone structure, with red tile and timber roofs. Interiors are adorned with carved stone elements such as washbasins and fireplaces, and furnished with some authentic 18th century folk art pieces. The swimming pool is located in a wide green area close to the house in a position perfect to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view across the valley and the nearby village. It is equipped with lawn chairs, beach umbrellas and a gazebo.
